Whoopee-doo! Let’s board the fun train and zoom into the Goliath of the Shark Tank Bangladesh – Yes, I’m talking about the one and only, Kazi M Hassan. This guy isn’t just a shark, he’s a freaking tsunami in the business ocean!

When it comes to catchy acronyms on the degree roster, Kazi has everything. MBA from Oxford? Check. Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) under ACCA, UK? Check. He even has a BBA from good old Dhaka U – talk about an educational hat trick! Seems like our shark is a bit of a nerd, huh? Ain’t nothing sexier than brains though.

Kazi’s career? Oh boy, let me catch my breath, cause it’s one wild ride! Kicked off at BAT, then jet set to the UK for some gig at IBM. Hooked into consulting, CFO advisories, and large-scale sales. Then, waved his wand across Europe, USA, and the Middle East. Phew, talk about a globe trotter!

Moving on, let’s bring the spotlight to Grameenphone, where he served as the Chief Business Officer. Under his guidance, Grameenphone, once a humble telco, transformed into a technological Santa – doling out scalable ICT/IoT goodies. He’s got a magic touch, right? Seems like our shark is more of a wizard!

Hey, but there’s more! Kazi isn’t afraid to switch lanes – from a Senior Management Consultant at Deloitte UK, making big bucks for large-cap companies, to top banana roles in finance and marketing with IBM UK and BAT Bangladesh.

But wait! His creativity doesn’t stop at his career. Kazi’s also spinning the wheel at the Advisory Committee of ACCA Bangladesh and as the Bangladesh Ambassador at the Global ACCA Forum. Makes one wonder if he’s got a Time-Turner (Any Harry Potter fans in the house?).

Get this; Kazi isn’t just a shark in the tank, he’s a beast in the entrepreneurial jungle. Founded companies in market research, real estate, and sourcing – it’s like he’s playing business bingo and winning!

Now what’s he looking for at the Tank? Big Ideas. Big Motivation. Big Vision. No haggling over “couple hundred sales”, he’s in for the thousands! And why not? Go big or go home, right?

Watch out, dreamers! The tank never seemed so inviting. Now, let’s sit back, and see if Kazi’s big bites will set the entrepreneurs on a trailblazing path. Buckle up folks, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride! Watch Shark Tank Bangladesh on Bongo and have a swell time, guaranteed.

Revolutionizing The Startup Ecosystem: Captain Sami Ahmed leading Startup Bangladesh

Whoa, buckle up folks, we’re about to dive into the wild rollercoaster ride of Mr. Sami Ahmed! Now if you’ve been sleeping under a rock and don’t know who he is, let me enlighten you. He is the captain steering the mega-ship called Startup Bangladesh. FYI, it’s the nation’s only venture capital fund backed by the jolly good government of our dear people’s republic.

Started its engines in March 2022 with a whopping BDT 500 crores in its kitty, Sami has been playing Captain Cool since 2022. As the MD and CEO, he’s been investing faster than you can say “Show me the money!”. In just 2.5 years, he’s generously hooked up 35 companies with his funds and he’s got his savvy eyes on 12 more. I tell you, Sami’s a man on a mission – transforming our startup scene faster than any make-over show. And why’s he the top dog for the job, you ask? This eagle-eyed entrepreneur isn’t your regular suit. Armed with a USA educated brain, a CSE degree, and a Masters in Development Studies from Bangladesh – he’s weaving tech and social development into one power-packed punch.

Our man chose to swap his cushy comfort in the States to rev-up Bangladesh’s economy. Now, that’s what I call patriotism (or insanity? You decide!).

So, what’s he scouting for? Companies that roll up their sleeves, ready to make a dent and create jobs. He’s got a soft spot for tech and tech-enabled companies and if you’ve heard the whispers, he dreams of gifting our dear Bangladesh a fleet of 5 Unicorns in the next 5 years. Ambitious much? Totally! But do we need it? Heck, yeah!

If you’ve caught the first episode, you know his zeal is off the charts. He’s not just throwing money around, he’s getting in the trenches with these companies. With two firms already in his portfolio, this shark is hungry for more.

So, what’s the future for our epic investment shark? More bites? More investments? Only time will tell. Nairobi to Cape Town, Paris to Dhaka, all eyes are on Sami! And between you and me, I can’t wait to see what he sinks his teeth into next!

Shark Tank Episode 1 – Eco Warriors, Sharks, and Sugar-Free Superheroes

Alright, so I watched Shark Tank Bangladesh Episode 1 on Bongo, and let me tell you, I dissected it like a frog in a high school biology class. Seriously, I’ve watched it three times already, and I’m ready to spill the beans on what I think.

First off, let’s talk production quality. This is a big-time global show, right? So, naturally, we’re all eyeballing Bongo to see if they can match up. And you know what? Given the tech and resources we’ve got, I’d say they did a decent job. I mean, who would’ve thought a Bangladeshi crew could pull off something this slick? The set design alone, whether you caught a glimpse on the Bongo app or TV, looked more spacious than your aunt’s closet. Yeah, sure, there’s room for improvement, especially in the camera department, but hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Now, onto the pitches! Booktionary kicked things off, and I gotta say, they’ve got a solid fanbase among bookworms. I’ve even bought from them myself. The dude behind it had his pitch game on point, probably with a little help from the Shark Tank peeps. The sharks seemed intrigued, especially Nazim Farhan Choudhury and Sami Ahmed. They were practically salivating at the potential. And can we talk about how they all seemed genuinely eager to lend a hand? It was like a bunch of helpful neighbors lending sugar, except they were offering cash instead.

Next up, Cookoly, the sugar-free superheroes. I mean, I’ve seen her promo video, and she’s like the Batman of healthy snacks, fighting against the evil forces of sugar. Her products tasted good to he sharks and even though Sami was out (tech only, folks), the other sharks were circling like hungry sharks… well, you get the metaphor. In the end, they scored a sweet deal, and I’m pretty sure she’s on her way to snack domination.

Then there was Ecoutler, the eco-warriors armed with bamboo cutlery. Props to them for fighting the good fight, but their valuation was… let’s just say, a bit optimistic. No deal there, but hey, we all learned something about pitching and prepping, right?

Last but not least, Beauty Solution strutted in like they owned the place. Dalia was a force to be reckoned with, and the sharks were eating it up like a buffet. With numbers that impressive, they practically threw money at her. It was like watching a bidding war at an auction, but with skincare products instead of antique furniture.

Overall, Shark Tank Bangladesh Episode 1 was a rollercoaster of entrepreneurship and awkward negotiations, and I loved every minute of it. If you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for? Get over to Bongo and dive into the shark tank. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Navin Ahmed: From Makeup Artist to Esteemed Chair on Shark Tank Bangladesh

Meet Navin Ahmed, whose name isn’t only famous for her killer makeup skills, but also for her entrepreneurial genius. Now, she’s about to shake things up as a Shark on Shark Tank Bangladesh.

Our girl Navin got her start in the beauty game the old fashion way. She was a student at Sheridan College, Canada, where she earned a degree in Cosmetics Techniques and Management. With her new know-how, she flew back to Dhaka to show the world what she’s got. It all started with a single room where her main focus was bridal makeovers – her true passion.

That one room didn’t remain a one-room show for long though. With lots of sweat, tears, and fabulous makeup looks, it transformed into a grand makeover studio that combined next-level techniques with a keen eye for beauty. Then, in 2017, she took things to a new level by opening a specialized salon for bridal makeovers and spa services.

But Navin is more than just a super talented makeup artist. She’s also a sharp-minded entrepreneur. Raised in a family of business-savvy people, she’s all about investing not just in business, but in people. She believes in helping others flourish and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Of course, we can’t forget to mention one of her most important roles – being a mom to two kiddos. Despite her busy schedule, she juggles her work and personal life like a pro.

From a makeup artist to the big chair on Shark Tank Bangladesh, Navin’s journey is one for the history books. She’s ambitiously looking forward to supporting budding businesses and discovering fresh entrepreneurial ideas.

To Navin, joining Shark Tank Bangladesh is not just about doing business; it’s about the thrill, the anticipation, and the unlimited opportunities coming her way. The world of business is enthusiastically waiting, knowing full well that Navin is about to turn things up a notch. Let’s watch and see how the magic unfolds!
